Yes, and it is one of the most common jobs we do. We check that the ceiling void has sufficient depth, run the cables properly back to a fused connection unit or consumer unit, and fit the transformers correctly. It is more involved than it looks from the outside.
My kitchen has a lot of appliances and not enough sockets. What is involved in adding more?
We assess the load on the existing circuits first. In most cases we can add sockets on a new circuit run back to the consumer unit, keeping the wall chasing minimal and tidy.
