Condensation is a very common issue in many houses in the Kent. Not just very old ones, it happens even to some that were built even 10-20 years ago. A Positive Input Ventilation unit will improve the air quality inside your home. Positioned, usually, inside the loft it will supply your house with filtered and fresh air helping to reduce the amount of allergens, dust and other harmful particles significantly improving the living condition of people with respiratory issues.
Other than creating a healthier living environment, a PIV unit it will also help with by lowing maintenance costs. By being a significant factor against damp and condensation it will protect your walls from needing expensive mould treatments and keep wooden floors and surfaces from rotting.
PIVs are also very easy and quick to install by a professional. Most of my installations don’t take more than a couple of hours and with the majority of work taking place inside your loft there is very little disruption to your every day life.
