electrician in Rochester

Another Dickens Festival  came and went. Like every June, Rochester’s high street and castle get transformed into an 18th century setting. People dress up as all sorts of characters from Victorian England and celebrate Dickens’ legacy and love for the town of Rochester, where he spent part of his childhood.

And of course the fun fair at the castle grounds where most of us with little ones must pay a visit to. My son definitely has a lot of fun every time we go.

I remember Dickens’ stories that my mum used to read me when I was a little child and I could never imagine that one day, years later I would be living just around the corner from where those stories are said to have taken place.

The Rochester and Medway area is also the place where I’m passionate to see safer electrical installations. If you own your home, then you will only have to test the electrics every 10 years and definitely make sure to do so before you exchange contracts if you are buying your new home.

It involves a cost but it’s an investment towards yours and your family’s safety and wellbeing.

If you are in the process of buying your new home or already living in it, please call your local Medway electrician and ask for an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) or Safety Report as most people call it.
